Writing Competition

We are pleased to invite students from across the community currently enrolled in middle school to participate in a short story writing competition. One winner will be selected from all applicants and their story will be featured on the Lovettsville Community Center website and the Love Books Festival website. The winner will be awarded with a $50 gift card the day of the festival.

Requirements:

The short story must be at least 1 page but no more than 3 pages and include the Lovettsville Community Center as a primary component in the story.

Short stories should be submitted by August 30th, 2024. Submissions can be delivered in person to the Lovettsville Community Center front desk or emailed to: competition@lovebooksfestival.com
