Writing Competition

We are pleased to invite students from across the community currently enrolled in middle school to participate in a short story ​writing competition. One winner will be selected from all applicants and their story will be featured on the Lovettsville Community ​Center website and the Love Books Festival website. The winner will be awarded with a $50 gift card the day of the festival.

Requirements:

The short story must be at least 1 page but no more than 3 pages and include the Lovettsville Community Center as a primary ​component in the story.

Short stories should be submitted by August 23th, 2024. Submissions can be delivered in person to the Lovettsville Community ​Center front desk or emailed to: competition@lovebooksfestival.com
