We are pleased to welcome local authors from Northern Virginia, Eastern Panhandle, and Western Maryland to join the Love Books Festival this year!

Join us at the Love Books Festival on Sept 7, 2024, for a celebration of books and reading. Our Festival event is anticipated to be filled with eager audiences for author readings and signings, free writing workshops, and fun.

Thank you to all the local authors that signed up to have a table at the event, host a workshop, or conduct a reading!

We accept all genres of books, with the exception of erotica, since this is a family-friendly event. Authors will be asked to submit a copy of their book cover. The first 10 authors that submit an application will be featured on our promotional bookmark for festival attendees. We will also be selecting several covers for inclusion as life-sized cardboard cutouts, intended to feature the lead character of your book, for photographs with attendees.

Tables will be provided for each author in the main room as well as advertising on the festival webpage. Authors are responsbile for their own point-of-sales equipment.

Setup/Breakdown: Authors are asked to setup their spaces by 10:30am, Saturday Sept 7 and break down by 4:30 pm, Saturday Sept 7.

Authors will be encouraged to supplement Festival advertising with promotion on their own social media accounts. Please be aware that you &/or your presentation/reading may be photographed, taped, and/or filmed by the Lovettsville Community Center.
